Meet Lara & Sonny

At the time we met, Lara was living on a horse property in Tucson. Sonny was living in Los Angeles, spending decades in the music industry.

Though our lives couldn't have looked more different, we quickly discovered we shared the same values: faith, hard work, serving others, and finding joy in life's everyday moments. We fell in love, built a life together, and watched as God faithfully opened one door after another. Initially, Lara moved to LA to be with Sonny, but after the Palisades fires and a season of unexpected change in Southern California, we felt called back to Southern Arizona, a place Lara has proudly called home for more than 24 years. Returning wasn't just a move; it was coming home.

Before real estate, Sonny spent decades as a professional musician and producer. Building relationships, communicating clearly, and helping people through life's challenges has always been at the heart of his work.

For Lara, Tucson has been home for more than 24 years. It's where she raised her family, built lifelong friendships, and discovered that this desert has a way of capturing your heart. For Sonny, moving to Tucson felt like coming home in a different way, a chance to build a new life together in a community that values authenticity, adventure, and connection.

We love that Tucson is a city unlike any other. It's surrounded by five mountain ranges and the incredible Sky Islands, where you can experience everything from towering saguaros and desert wildlife to pine forests just a short drive away. Every season brings something new to explore, whether it's spring wildflowers, monsoon storms, incredible sunsets, stargazing under our protected dark skies or cool mountain escapes in the summer.

We love wandering through Tucson's historic neighborhoods, cheering on the Wildcats at the beautiful University of Arizona campus (Bear Down, Arizona!), spending afternoons exploring our museums, and enjoying the city's vibrant arts and cultural scene. Summer evenings often mean Concerts in the Park with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, while year-round you'll find us enjoying live music at Hotel Congress, catching a show at the Tucson Convention Center, or discovering another local festival.

And then there's the food.

As the first UNESCO City of Gastronomy in the United States, Tucson is a place where incredible food is woven into its history and culture. From family-owned Mexican restaurants and neighborhood cafés to award-winning chefs and hidden gems, there's always something new to discover.

Most of all, we love the people. Southern Arizona has a warmth that goes far beyond the sunshine. It's a community where neighbors look out for one another, small businesses thrive, and newcomers are welcomed with open arms.
